Bamboo is the most renewable resource on the planet! Some species can grow up to 3 feet per day and Bamboo can grow to full maturity in 2 years compared to 30 years for trees. Bamboo also uses 30% less water and gives off 35% more oxygen than trees, which means an acre of bamboo can fix approximately 25 metric tons of atmospheric CO2 per year.
Deforestation is unsustainable.
27,000 trees are cut down every single day to make toilet paper. This systematic deforestation leads to loss of wildlife and further destroys our precious planet.
